Three children hurt in school scaffolding collapse
Three Delta Park School children were seriously hurt after scaffolding collapsed on top of them early on Tuesday afternoon.
Netcare 911 Spokesman Chris Botha said the teenagers were playing under the structure when the incident happened.
He said paramedics had treated the children for serious injuries, including possible spinal trauma.
While medics worked to stabilise the three, another student suffered a seizure and was stabilised on site.
Students requiring additional treatment were transported to a nearby hospital.
The cause of the collapse of the scaffolding is unknown and will be subject to a police investigation.
