Several men were seriously injured after a wall collapsed onto scaffolding in Boskruin, Randburg on Saturday morning

Netcare911 spokesperson Santie Stienmann said paramedics arrived on scene and found the “scene strewn with bricks and building materials.”

Eight men were injured during the collapse.

“Upon assessment of the men they found that six men sustained serious injuries and two men sustained moderate injuries,” said Stienmann.

The injured patients were treated on scene and transported to various hospitals.

Details surrounding the cause of the incident and preceding events are still unclear at this stage.
