PURPOSE OF THE COURSE
The Occupational Health and Safety Act, mainly governs health and safety in South Africa. By law; health and safety must be implemented and managed within the organisation. Non compliance may lead to unnecessary fines, penalties and possible prosecution. The course provides an over view of the latest (updated) health and safety legislation in simple terms, aiding the employer and ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation.
Participants will receive a student manual as well as a ''Pocket Statue of the Occupational Health and Safety Act & Regulations''. Course content also includes a ''health and safety toolkit ''. The toolkit provides valuable information, aiding the employer with the implementation and management of health and safety in the workplace.
