                       Nuwe Minimum lone vir huis bediendes en tuin werkers
                                    Desember 2007 tot 30 November 2008

Die nuwe tabelle wat die loon verhogings vir huiswerkers reguleer vir die tydperk 1 November 2007 tot 30 November 2008 is verlede week deur die Departement van Arbeid beskikbaar gestel.

Die lone word verdeel in twee areas naamlik Area A en Area B. Enige area wat nie in Area A gemeld word nie, is outomaties ingesluit in area B . Area A verteenwoordig meestal stedelike gebiede en Area B die meer landelike gebiede.  

Die verhoging is van toepassing op alle areas  en word  bereken deur die minimum loon van 2007 te neem, plus 9.3% . Die verhoging  het reeds op 1 Desember 2007 in werking getree.

Die nuwe verhogings is gebaseer op die VPIX-inflasiekoers vir Oktober 2007, wat 7.3 % is, plus 2% wat die totale verhoging te staan bring op 9.3 %.

Werknemers wat meer as 27 ure per week werk.

Area A (dit is nodig dat die tabelle geraadpleeg word om te bepaal in watter area geval word)

Huidige Minimum Uurlikse Tarief     = R5-47 per uur.

Huidige  Minimum Weeklikse tarief     = R246-21 per week

Huidige Minimum Maandelikse tarief  = R1066-83 per maand

 

Nuwe minimum uurlikse tarief:    = R 5-98

Nuwe Minimum weeklikse tarief: = R 269-11

 

Nuwe minimum Maandelikse tarief: = R 1166-05

Area B :  (alle areas wat nie in area A gemeld word nie.)

Huidige  Minimum Uurlikse  Tarief  = R 4.44

Huidige  Minimum Weeklikse Tarief = R199.76

Huidige  Minimum Maandelikse Tarief = R 865-54

Nuwe minimum uurlikse tarief: R 4-85

Nuwe minimum weeklikse tarief: 218-34 

Nuwe minimum Maandelikse Tarief: R 946-04

Werknemers wat minder as 27 uur per week werk.:

Area A :

Huidige  Minimum Uurlikse Tarief     =  R 6-46

Huidige  Minimum Weeklikse Tarief    =  R 174-50 

Huidige  Minimum Maandelikse Tarief   =  R 756-09 .

Nuwe minimum uurlikse Tarief: R 7-06

Nuwe minimum weeklikse tarief:  R 190-73

Nuwe minimum Maandelikse tarief: R 826-41

Die totale in die tabelle verteenwoordig die bruto salaris voor aftrekkings

Area B :  (alle areas wat nie in area A gemeld word nie.)

Huidige  Minimum Uurlikse Tarief     =  R 5-24

Huidige  Minimum Weeklikse Tarief    =  R 141-56

Huidige  Minimum Maandelikse Tarief   =  R 613-39

Nuwe minimum uurlikse tarief: R 5-73

Nuwe minimum weeklikse Tarief: R  154-73

Nuwe minimum Maandelikse tarief: R 670-44

Die bostaande totale is die bruto salaris voor aftrekkings

Met verwysing na die inligting is die nuwe minimum loon vir area A, vir werknemers wat vir meer as 27 uur per week werk dus R 1166-05 per maand.

Werknemers wat reeds meer as die minimum vergoeding ontvang is nie outomaties geregtig op die verhoging nie.  In teenstelling moet werkers wat huidiglik minder as die minimum bedrae kry se salarisse verhoog word tot nie minder as die absolute minimum nie.
